Having perfected game assets creation for UE4 during the final year of my degree I decided to make some assets to sell on the Unreal Marketplace. I needed a shotgun model for the Evil Dead concept art I was working on and having checked the Marketplace I realised there was a distinct lack of shotguns. There are some amazing tactical and modern weapon assets on the store with one company in particular (Ironbelly Studios) dominating the weapon asset category. Assets on the store are of extremely high quality so my models needed to be a similar standard whilst providing value for money. I knew if I made a traditional double barreled shotgun it would be easy to make a ‘sawed off’ version to add extra value to a pack.
